STORI is a LLP. For all purposes under these Terms, the entity is referred to as STORI.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using STORI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the platform.
Nature of Services
STORI is a technology platform providing admissions-support tools, AI-assisted workflows, recommendations, organisational support and admissions assistance infrastructure for students applying to educational programmes across the world. STORI is not a university, educational institution, admissions authority, admissions consultant, immigration consultant, legal advisor or admissions guarantee service.
No Guarantees
STORI does not guarantee admissions, scholarships, interviews, visas, rankings, employability outcomes or acceptance into any institution or programme. All outcomes depend on factors beyond STORI's control.
University and Programme Recommendations
Recommendations, shortlists and rankings generated by STORI are informational only and should not be treated as professional advice.
AI Assessments and Strategy Tools
STORI may provide AI-assisted assessments, analyses, recommendations, interview simulations, application strategies, and other admissions-support outputs. All outputs are provided for informational and guidance purposes only. Users are solely responsible for independently reviewing and verifying all outputs before relying upon them. STORI makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or fitness of any output for any particular purpose.
SOP, Resume and LOR Support
Any drafts, edits, recommendations or templates generated through the platform are guidance only. Users remain solely responsible for final submissions, factual accuracy, authenticity and compliance with institutional requirements.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for all application materials, submissions, admissions decisions, deadline compliance and verification of information.
Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of uploaded content. STORI retains ownership of the platform, software, AI systems, prompts, methodologies, recommendation frameworks, workflows, databases, trademarks and all related intellectual property. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use generated outputs for personal admissions purposes.
Data Rights and Privacy
Users grant STORI a licence to process uploaded information for service delivery, analytics, platform improvement and development of AI systems. STORI may use anonymised and aggregated data for research, training and improvement purposes. Users consent to the collection and processing of personal information including academic, professional, financial, passport and visa-related information where provided. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for full details of how personal data is collected, stored and used.
Testimonials
Users grant STORI the right to use testimonials, reviews, feedback and admissions success stories for promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.
Prohibited Conduct
Users shall not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, decompile, extract prompts, create competing services, interfere with platform operations, upload unlawful content or misuse the platform.
Fees, Refunds and Suspension
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all fees are non-refundable. STORI may suspend or terminate access for misuse, breach of these Terms or security concerns without refund.
Third-Party Services
STORI may utilise third-party technology and AI providers. STORI makes no warranty regarding availability, performance or continuity of third-party services and shall not be liable for outages or failures caused by such providers.
Limitation of Liability
STORI's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any service shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant service. STORI shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, loss of opportunity, loss of admissions prospects or loss of data.
Indemnity
Users shall indemnify and hold harmless STORI from claims, losses, liabilities and expenses arising from their breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform or violation of third-party rights.
Privacy
STORI will take reasonable measures to protect user information but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users acknowledge the risks associated with electronic transmission and storage of data.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra. Courts at Mumbai shall have jurisdiction for interim and ancillary relief.
Amendment
STORI may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
